Sydney, it has been a year since we first started organising techno events. It has been quite the journey. This April we will be a year old and we would like to invite you to our 1st Birthday party at CULT on Saturday 8th of April (Easter Long Weekend)

For people who are part of the Sydney techno scene already know the name Aaron King but for those who don’t here’s a bit about our headliner for this event.

Aaron king is 27 year old Dj/Producer from the central coast of NSW, Australia.

Growing up with a parents who were heavily into electronic music and his dad being a DJ for over a decade, it was inevitable that he would follow in his fathers footsteps.

Beginning Dj’ing in 2016, he has played at some of the best and most renowned underground events that NSW has to offer, those being in nightclubs, secret rave locations around Sydney and in the NSW bush. With a wide selection of music, Aaron is not bound to a specific genre. Playing anything from house, techno, DnB and psytrance but with a more direct focus on dark minimal techno with psychedelic influences.

Starting the journey into production in 2017 Aaron has experimented with a vast array of genres but recently pinpointed his focus on dark minimal techno, with heavy influences from artists such as, Carbon, Lampe, Peter Groskreutz, unknown concept and other heavyweights in the scene.

Releasing on labels such as Allfriends records, Music4clubbers, Joker black and with a forthcoming release on Music4aliens in early 2023, he aims to make an imprint on the minimal techno scene around the globe.
